What suppressor cover do you trust?

If suppressors are legal in CA at some point, I might think about making my own out of leather. I have some pieces of 16oz veg tan that would work. I've done some stitching in the past.
Leather would always be my first choice, and after that I would pick something with NOMEX, that material is pretty heat resistant. So much, I put my NOMEX suit on prior to posting in case I get flamed.

The answer for a cover is go offshore 100 miles. buy Can, cover with a duffel bag.
By the powers we live with in California, if I take just one decibel away from my gun discharge, that is illegal. I don't work for the government and am not allowed to be illegal.

I had a friend who thought putting a potato over the muzzle of a gun was a good hill billy muffler.
I've seen barrels blow up and personally would rather go with the noise.

This is my $0.02...Trump is working to remove Suppressors, SBRs, and SBSs off the NFA, and it's my hope that at that time it will be removed from CA's illegal use of Suppressors. But that is not decided yet, and as you know there are several factors in that happening.
If either Hilton or Bianco win, the residents will most likely be able to use them. But if one of the Democrat's win, it will be business as usual. I wish I had a better answer, but until we find out for certain, all bets are off.
