I'm curious to know what shooting ranges everyone prefers. What's your favorite place to shoot and what makes it stand out for you?

For us folk at the western end of the LA Metroplex, My fav is California Tactical Academy, 1500 Acres with targets out 1k yards.
I have a X3 membership which permits me to have my own private bay almost any day of the week, although weekend are difficult (I'm almost never there on a weekend except for a training or competition). Going on my 4th yr of membership.

Angeles Shooting Range. They also have a well stocked Reloading Supply Store on site.

We here in Napa have no place less then an hours drive to shoot. There is one local club with a waiting list years long.

WEGC (West End Gun Club) had a 5 year wait for a full membership. I got in after about 3 1/2 years of waiting, and never looked back.

Living on 20 isolated rural acres way out in the country has its advantages.

The only 2 neighbors I have who are anywhere close to me (I can see their houses from the top of my property) have their own private home shooting ranges.

I have my range on my 20a too. I end up with 2 problems.
1. A 6,8k acre park next to me Hikers will call 911 if I am shooting
2. Neighbors a mile up the road. They are all next to each other with their 20a. They expect me to text them and warn them. Only 1 can really hear me shoot. And then she claims I am shooting at her house when I am shooting the other way.. My rangefinder has her house over 3/4 miles away. Wish I had something to hit that distance.

So to keep peace, I gotta call the County to let them know I am shooting.
Told my neighbors, I ain't texting if I am dispatching something attacking my livestock
