I believe it is, although not mine. What do you think is illegal about that?Is that setup even legal?
I agree, without a CCW, it can't be loaded in a vehicle, so it's useless. @alan said that's temporary, so not sure what his plans are.I personally do not think that set up is legal in the Kommunist Republik unless you have a CCW.
Why is that unsafe, though? There are a number of door holsters similar to how you have that mounted.Appreciate y'all! Just to clarify, this is only a temporary setup, and I’m just using it for quick grocery runs. I definitely don’t want to get caught up in anything serious. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
But yeah, @Eastenerwesterner is right, better be safe than sorry!
You already admitted that without a CCW it it probably illegal in the Kommunist RepublikWhy is that unsafe, though? There are a number of door holsters similar to how you have that mounted.
I am just trying to keep people safe from the convoluted laws in this state.I agree, without a CCW, it can't be loaded in a vehicle, so it's useless. @alan said that's temporary, so not sure what his plans are.

I think it depends on the county a lot. In Lake County, they're less likely to site someone for that. I think there is just less chance in general of getting pulled over.I am just trying to keep people safe from the convoluted laws in this state.
It’s really about keeping a loaded firearm in a spot that might move around while you’re driving or could be grabbed unexpectedly. I know there are holsters made for doors and things like that but I just don’t want to take any chances, even if it seems like a quick and easy solution for short trips. Why is that unsafe, though? There are a number of door holsters similar to how you have that mounted.
That's just a temporary setupIf you want to get a CCW, why haven’t you?
