Just as a follow up to this pic.
I saw 3 seperate herds on my way up today within 10 miles. Elk campground, Orick, and Elk Meadow.
Elk campground probably 200. Orick probably more. Elk Meadow over 50.

A campground, a cow pasture, and a small camper park. They know where they are safe and can’t be hunted.

Those pics are classic, looks like the same ones from the infamous DeLeon "Ghost Gun Video". As a tribute to that bonehead, I will post the video here. This really describes California's view on the 2A.
