What bore cleaners do you find most effective? I've been using a couple of brands, but I'm looking to see if there are better options out there. Would love to hear your experiences!

I've always used Hoppe's No.9. There are a thousand choices. Not sure any of them are any better or worse. I've also used Break Free CLP and Superzilla Gun-zilla CLP. The Break Free seems to leave a stain on my cleaning cloths.

I also use Break Free, but the distinct smell from Hoppe's, sure makes my mind wander to some really fun times.

Bore cleaner - Hoppe's #9

CLP - I have used Mossy Oak and Hoppe's and just got the Lucas Oil to try something new. Between Mossy Oak and Hoppe's, Hoppe's is the winner.

Breakfree CLP here also, but I use Hoppe's to clean the barrel, now I'm not sure I need to do that...but I like to clean them when I get them, and then shoot copper through them...I don't like to switch between copper and bonded without cleaning. Other than that, I spray CLP, if it's good enough for the military, it's good enough for me.🗽

I like to refer to Hoppe's #9 as cologne, my wife always complained about it when I came to bed...so that's one advantage of separating...no whining about my Hoppe's cologne...
