Im finally getting my hands on a couple of suppressors, But my rifles arent threaded yet. Does anyone know the best gunsmith for barrel work? Id appreciate any recommendations!

It might help if you can tell us where you're located? You can't legally use one in California until the law changes. But you can probably possess them if you don't use them. If you're in a different state, that is a bit more free than California, well, congrats to you.

You cant do that in Cali afaik.

My local gun shop. ShootSoCal Firearms has a legal muffler on a 300 Blackout short rifle. He is a gun dealer and is allowed to do so. With this in mind, I plan on putting out a card table in front of my hosienda with guns for sale. I sold a gun over 50 years ago and still mourn the loss. Dave, the owner of SSC firearms, laughs at my cleverness.
An associate made a muffler for his 9, and it was very quiet. He put it in a briefcase, then left it somewhere, along with his I.D. 30 years ago, which cost him 15 grand to keep out of the pokie.

"Flash suppressors" are a "feature" in CA so only allowed on fixed magazine rifles. His other post speaks about "featureless" so a flash suppressor is a no go on that. Muzzle brakes and compensators are OK as long as they don't reduce flash.
