What's your favorite pistol? No Glocks please. Mine is a Beretta M9.

Me too. I have an M9A1 that now wears a Vertec slide (with G mod), 92X Xtreme trigger, Coolhand G10 grips, WC Extended mag release and mag guide. I also have a .22LR kit for it.

Currently my favorite is a 1911 Commander, I just like the way it feels in my hand, and when you fire it you know it's a man's gun.

But recently I've been pondering either an S&W 10mm revolver with a 4" Barrel to use for bear defense when hunting.

Is anyone familiar with either the Smith & Wesson or Colt Python revolvers? I didn't see a 10mm in the Python when I was looking, so that may need to be 357 Mag or 44 Mag. Anyone familiar with revolvers? I have 3 1911s, but only one has the 4.5" barrel, the other 2 are 5" Govies.

I particularly like how you took 2 very different routes with them. The blued model with wood grips has that classic, traditional look, while the nickel one with pearl grips is full of character. Browning really got the fit and finish just right on those.
