Bore Tech line of gun cleaning products ...

Has anyone used this line of products? ... Any opinion? I have been sticking to the Hoppe's, SLIP2000 and Lucas line of cleaning products. These popped up in a search.

I hear good stuff about their bore cleaner, but I haven't used it. I steer away from boro-scope, and I use Hoppes for most everything. I have used SLIP2000 on one action and have used Rem Oil on another. Stay away from the BoreSnakes...

Stay away from the BoreSnakes...

What's wrong with bore snakes? .. I like to put some CLP on the leader and use them once or twice as final pull-through to get any last tidbits of 'stuff' in the barrel.

What has your experience been?

I used to keep on in my range bag, and thought at least I could use it at the range, but whenever clean my rifles, I do it at home. I even bought one for .338 to use on 8.6 blackout...but I've been told to stay away from them, by more than one person. A couple say the metal 'thang on the end can damage your barrel, and I've heard that a boroscope was showing some bad juju after using the bore sname. One thing I noticed recently was that some of the cleaning rods have a non-common 8-36, where most all of my jags and attachments are 8-32.
