If you're gearing up to look for the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals on guns and accessories, where have you found the best bargains in the past? We’d love to hear about your favorite spots!

McGuire Ballistics is having a 20% off all inventory, and 10% off blems, not sure if that is 30% for Black Friday or not. 🤷‍♂️

It doesn't start until 12/28 and goes through 12/01.

I have most everything I need this year, and just ordered the 12th Edition of the Hornady Reloading Manual, as I use that all the time. I currently have a hard copy of the 9th Edition, and all of the calibers I shoot plus a couple more in the digital app. My hat is off to Neil Davies for putting all of this information together, it's not easy for them to print out a new edition. I've been waiting for this new edition for months, if not over a year. I do have about $300 worth of bullets in my cart at McGuire Ballistics waiting for the 20% sale next Friday. Getting 50 mag fed, and 25 single feed, in 168 Long for 300 WSM and the same for 6.5 PRC with 125 grain Copper Rose bullets. Those will be my 2 hunting rifles this year, with an emphasis on 6.5 PRC, as it's light.

I know this thread was set up for guns and accessories, but I am a prepper first. Guns and accessories are secondary to me.
I bought into the EcoFlow battery whole house back up system a year ago for my new house. I have the equivalent of 2 power walls built up over time with a transfer switch.
One more battery and I have 1/3 system maxed out.
If I want to add to my system they have a deal . Another control unit and battery for less than 2k each. My wife wanted to buy at 2200 each a couple months ago.
This would give me the capability of adding 3 more power walls worth of power.
Tempting.

Sounds like you’ve really got your priorities straight, just like a true prepper! While guns are definitely useful, it’s the essentials like power, water, and self-sufficiency that will keep you going long before you ever need to reach for a firearm. And that EcoFlow setup you’re working on is impressive. With two batteries that are equivalent to a power wall, you’re already ahead of 99% of folks out there. Plus, having it connected to a proper transfer switch is some serious next-level preparedness!

What type of power walls do you have? The Teslas are quite pricey, both the panels and the installation.

I would like to get some type of solar, even if I don't get panels, and just feed it back to the grid. A friend actually gets paid to feed his solar back to the grid, he was able to do a deal with PG&E when they paid.

I just looked at the Tesla page, but I don't think Tesla gives discounts, that goes for Starlink also.

Black Friday Early Access at Origin USA

These guys make some nice looking boots! (y)

Origin dropped some of their prices more, and belts went down to $59 for the black friday sale. Seems every year I get the stuff I want on Black Friday, and stuff I really didn't want for Xmas...sadly, that's the truth. That said, my daughter bought me a new iPhone for Xmas as she will be out of country.

Honestly, I wouldn't care. I have their catalog in the drawer by my feet, and end up salivating on the pages.

One of my friends was saying at TG dinner tonight (yeah, they did it Wed. this year) that he was going to get a 44 mag in a Henry, as he has a 44 mag already. His dad was there and said he carries a 44 mag revolver with an 8" barrel, when he rides his horse to hunt with, mainly to load bird shot to shoot snakes. He said when you shoot bird shot out of them, it's easy to blow their heads off.

I found out from the Sheriff in Lake County who issues the CCWs that he holds training at the range, it goes for 2 days (16 hours), and once you finish it you're ready for CCW. He said there's a training coming up next month, and he holds it for free.(y)

Just a heads up, MDT has a huge sale for Black Friday, most everything is 60% off, including their HNT26 chassis. If you were thinking about getting a chassis, now's the time, 3-round LA 300WM for my Fierce action, 40% off, only $29.97, marked down from $49.95. I also got a 3 round SA metal mag for 6.5 PRC/300 WSM, 50% off, $49.98, marked down from $99.95.

The real savings are in the Chassis though. The Remington medium action HNT26 Chassis for $839.97, marked down from $1399.95. That's a serious savings.

That said, I need to stop buying stuff. no matter how great a deal...

I bought this for my daughter. For any parents out there, it's a good reminder. I have always told both of my kids, "You can pick your nose, and you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your parents...." (and you can't pick the nose of your friends)

This is about as close as I could get them to both of us. My daughter's Japanese name is Ai, which means Love in Japanese. My wife wanted to use that name for our daughter, years before she was born. We have a niece named Ai also. With AI so popular these days, I've always wondered if there's some hidden meaning there. This doesn't match the new iPhone she got me, but it has meaning. She does take after me, rather than my wife, who our son takes after more. This came to my p.o. box today, so I didn't even open it, and sent it to her, she lives in Menlo Park and works at Stanford Children's Hospital as the lead Dietitian on the liver team. To say I'm proud of her would be an understatement.
