At what point does the accuracy start to dip enough for you to think about replacing a barrel? Also, how many rounds did you fire before making that call? Please share the caliber and its intended use too!
I usually think about swapping out my .308 hunting rifle after about 5k-6k rounds. It’s more for peace of mind than any real concern over accuracy. As long as I’m keeping it within 1-1.5 MOA and it’s doing the job on deer, I’m not too worried. But if I notice my groups consistently going beyond 2 MOA with reliable ammo that’s when I draw the line.
