This is a really nice knife, and I was originally planning to have him make me a fixed blade to skin with. That was prior to me wanting to make my own skinning knive. I just like to use tools that I make, that goes for most things in my life. I also like to work on my own cars and trucks. I hope to get a car lift.

This is a very nice knife, but the design is not my favorite, for this one reason...safety.

This has a black lock on the side, and I find them dangerous to flip shut. Opposed to how the button/slide lock on the Bugout, I find it safer to flip back closed to put it back in my pocket. I tend to use my EDC for various stuff, not dressing meat specific, but the Bugout could skin game if I had to. I also prefer a fixed blade for skinning.

This is probably the nicest knife I own, it has carbon scales, and the bolster and clip are some type of ti-mascus which is a nice touch. I originally bought this knife to give to my daughter, because she carries a knife in her purse which is a cheap POS chinesium. Both me and her love purple, so I thought this would be a nice knife for her. Well, it didn't get her in time for her b-day, and when I got it, I decided to keep it as I like it so much. Nobody would feel cheated with this, or any high quality knife, there are hundreds if not thousand of boutique makers. You only need a belt sander and you're off and running.

This is an amazing steak knife.😋
