This 2 x 2 has a couple kickers coming in also, and is covered with velvet.

Almost makes me want a bow...I can't shoot firearms where I live. FWIW, the 4473 forum does have a question if the residence that the firearm will be kept at, is inside the city limits, and in my case I'm in the unincorporated area of Kelseyville, CA. Doesn't it seem this buck is missing his tail?

When I bought my property 25 years ago, I was impressed that you could even fly sea planes into Clear Lake. There's an airport in Lakeport, Lampson Field. They fly helicopters out of there also.

Previously I wanted to learn how to fly, but my wife was very against it, but now that she's gone, maybe I'll do that. I've never seen the Seaplane Splash-In. Are you really coming to Lakeport next week?

Lampson Airport may have a flight school there that does a introductory flight, you can go for a flight and see if its something you want to do: https://highsierrapilots.club/services/
The Seaplanes will be available to see up close between 10-2 pm if I recall correctly over at the Skylark Resorts docks.
Yeah, coming up Thursday and heading home Sat. night.

Maybe I'll get to meet you. I've seen Sylark Resorts in Lakeport, over by the Santas Cottage Cafe, good for breakfast/lunch. Over at Lampson, there was a restaurant which closed down, called Red's Skyway. It's being taken over by Mike Lyndall, and he's calling it Patti's, name after his mom. It's going to be a steakhouse.

I will look into the lessons! Thanks for the tip! I see you can even get a sea plane rating there. FWIW, I own property in Buckingham Park, on Westlake Dr, and I own 90' of lakefront.
