We’re here to dig into what really matters for long-range accuracy in 9mm platforms. For those who’ve fine-tuned their builds, what parts and ammo choices have given you the best 100-yard groups? If you’ve tracked your changes and results, please share them so we can build a solid knowledge base together.

I've mostly reloaded 45ACP for pistol. I spilled some pistol primers in the shop today. I find the ammo is better and more accurate when I reload it myself.

100 yards is extreme long distance for pistol distance, IMO. I would practice at 25 feet and 50 feet.

Long range accuracy & 100 yard groups with 9mm???? You must be thinking full length carbine with scopes. Maybe only Taran Butler or Jerry Michuluk(in his prime) and their ilk could "group" 9mm using a hand gun @ 100yrards, so not sure what you're after.
I would never consider a 9mm as a long-range worthy round. While I dont have 9mm carbine, the ballistics spec drops of 8"-15" @100yards make "long-range" accuracy moot. IMHO - But what do I know.

I should've been clearer. I'm referring to PCC/carbine setups, not handguns. I totally agree that trying to group 9mm from a pistol at 100 yards is more about trick shooting than practical accuracy. However, in the realm of PCC competition and training, 100 yards is actually quite standard. Those running suppressed PCCs with quality barrels, good triggers, and match-grade ammo can achieve surprisingly tight groups at that range. It’s not precision rifle territory, of course, but with the right setup, consistent 2-3 MOA is definitely achievable. The drop is a factor, as you mentioned, but it’s more about knowing your dope than the potential for accuracy. I've come across some great builds that really excel beyond 50 yards and I’d love to hear what components others think make a difference.
