The stage that beat everyone at our last club match

There was a point in the stage where you had to decide between a faster route or a safer one. Almost everyone chose speed and ended up paying for it. One shooter slowed things down, made the smarter call and walked away with the win. It really showed me how important it is to think through the entire stage before you even start moving.

I’ve actually seen Grand Master competitors blow a match because they decided to lean way out to shoot a target instead of just taking two easy steps.

I remember watching a guy win our last match.. everyone else was just sprinting around but he simply walked. It really hit me then that stage planning is way more like a game of chess than it is track and field.
