Lubricants for the winter season

I want to tap into the community's knowledge about cold-weather storage. Which lubricants have you found to be effective in maintaining their performance and preventing corrosion? If you have any platform-specific notes, I’d love to hear those too!

I'm not sure how critical that is in CA, as we have pretty mild winters, in comparison.

My son is in Japan right now, -5 is the average today, and 0 is the high. When I lived there 40 years ago, it wasn't as bad as I lived in Tokyo, and my wife and son are living in Hachioji, at my wife's parent's house.

How cold does it get where you live? I think it's when it gets below zero that it gets more difficult.

I grew up in Western NY. Hunted in below zero conditions more often than not. Standard gun lubes worked just fine.

Like others have said it’s mild here in California . I just run a dry patch thru the barrel before I shoot
