The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals had upheld Judge Benitez's unconstitutional ruling of California's Ammo regime, and issued permanent injunction on this process. This includes the backround check, out of state purchase, and FFL required involvement. Some Out-of-State vendors are already shipping direct to residents. CA DOJ will likely appeal for an en-banc review AGAIN, and request a stay pending appeal.

So, has the extra ammo tax also been overturned by the courts?

No, the tax is still in place. Apparently, some vendors (those who do not operate in CA) don't collect sales tax so they don't collect the excise tax either.

I'm wondering if they will also dismiss that dumb ammo tax, since it is all unconstitutional?

I know some vendors don't collect sales tax. It's done by the FFL when you pick up as well as the 11% excise tax . So now there is no FFL pick up. Soooooo..........???
