Let’s talk about public land! Do you have a go-to spot that's great for hiking that's not too crowded? If so, drop the general area. No need to spill the beans on your secret spots! I think it’d be awesome if we could share some gems to make our outdoor adventures even better.

I opened this thread again, to make an addition where I'm going to try on Wed.

I'm going over to the Cache Creek Wilderness, which is located in Southeast Lake County.

I'm running out of time on my bear tag, you can only use them in California until December 28th, so I'm gonna try to get out on this Wednesday, which is the 23rd. Cache Creek Wilderness is BLM land. Cache Creek is 2,300 acres of BLM land.

I want to make sure if I don't find anything, that I still can get out a couple days before the season ends.

On Wed. I'm gonna try the Red Bud Trail. I will shoot a bear or pig, but deer are out of season in A zone.

Anyone else doing any last minute grocery shopping? 😏
