I will start I am picking up my s/w model 29/3 10 3/8 barrel it's a monster next week and maybe doing a deal I want a ppk 380 ffl has one I need to look at it again . So what's y'all next purchase or wants

A Model 29 with a 10 and 3/8 barrel is a lot of gun. You need a sherpa and a trailer hitch just to haul it around. Just curious: What will you use it for?
I don't know shoot it I putting the wood target grips on when I get it's just cool looking maybe I have a thing about long smiths here's my other one

I have found with my 2 wheel gun purchases, I can't hit the broadside of the barn. My semis are another story.
I may keep my #1 forever, but #2 was quickly gone. Both the semis, I have had over 20 years and feel comfortable with.
Just my preference

I have been checking out Semi's with a smaller frame.

Hmmmm......
what kind of wheel guns? I have 3 S&W 357's. my 4" 686 can hit 12" plate easy @ 50yrds, the 686 6" is good @ 100yds with 12" plate. the other is a Model 19 6"... just as accurate

My next want is

10.5" AR 300BLK...Just can't get em' in Kommiefornia without some shenanigans.

Both of mine were Colt. The one I kept was a popular LEO model and caliber in the 50's. Wife can shoot it just fine, so it's not the gun.
I have tried friends wheel guns with similar results.
I guess I just naturally prefer semis. I think the first pistol I ever shot was my grandfathers German Luger

Those are good little shooters!
Thanks as you know can't buy it in Calif got luck on a trade with my ffl it's 1979 made in west Germany with all correct markings down to the left hand grip with the made in Germany on the bottom this guy was not shot much at all it's super clean looks brand new

I had the Walther PPKS that I wore on my left ankle for 15 years while on duty. I would try to cover it with lint and dirt, just to see if it would ever get too gummed up to shoot, but never had a malfunction with it.

Good to know

Having a 25/280AI being built, and WSM in a bolt action being build that the barrel will be threaded in, not compressed fit. The last rifle I got was a compress fit. That makes the 2nd one. 1 being a 22WM, and a 17SWM rifles. 22WM is a model ruger 77. I had to take out about 1/8"+ out of the forearm to get it to group at about 1" at 100yds. The 17 SWM it group about 1" @ 100yds, not happy with that either. I was looking for something that would get me out to about 200yds but in the 1/2" group.
Presently my biggest problem is finishing up my reloading shack in Montana. It's just about there. I have 7 rifles that I need to create loads for. I generally reload and not purchase tailor made ammo. I work on cold bore shots that hit their mark, and remain accuratic with additional shots being fired.
