Yota boys! Mind sharing a pic?
I have a 2WD Tacoma also, it's hiding behind the Tundra. I added these bolt on running boards, what a pleasure to step into the cab.Yota boys! Mind sharing a pic?

I bought my 'Yota new in 2002, for my 16 year old daughter. 15 years later, I gave her my used Lexus SUV, but she was so fond of that truck (she named Dave!), she asked me to give Dave a good afterlife as a retired, old range truck. Yes, ol' Dave has been a great purchase.
Nothing like knowing the entire history! I like Hondas also, but the Toyota trucks are very reliable. My daughter bought a 2016 Lexus RX350, she's had it for about 3 years. That's the newest car in our family. I bought my son a used Prius, and my daughter saved and bought a Lexus ES-350 for cash, both me and my wife drove her to work for 2 years when she was in high school. Her RX350 would be nicer if it was 4WD, but she doesn't need it...I would WANT it. LOL
My parents taught me and my sisters to buy cars on credit, trade them in as often as you can, and pawn off the old cars on the kids...but I taught my kids to save up and buy as much car as you can afford with cash. At least with most Japanese companies (these Tacos and Tundras are mostly made in America), the trucks are not falling apart after 5-6 years.

2010 Tacoma. 90K miles. Just do the maintenance and won't stop running. One of the last to be built in Fremont CA. Before the Tesla POS took over the plant.

Well, after failing to get the Ford flatbed started, I know exactly why. The Toyotas are just so reliable. I need a recall done on my Tundra, and one on my CR-V, but they run well. I like Hondas, but they don't have a great history with trucks, and Toyota does.Not too obvious that you're a Toyota lover
I went to have lunch with my daughter and wife, as my wife is going back to Japan on Monday...my daughter bought me a new iPhone for XMAS! I'm not religious in the sense of XMAS, but I sure wanted one...my kids bought me my last iPhone, it was an XS, had just come out when I turned 60, that was my b-day pressie...I turned 67 back in September, so I go over 7 years out of it. My daughter is planning to be out of country for XMAS.
I still need to get my apps and music off my old phone, but stopped by T-Mobile and had my XS deactivated and my iPhone Air activated. She got me screen protectors and a case for it also...bless her heart!
She sent home a care package with me also...

Yeah, I hear 'ya, but I use mine ever single day, and there's a few things I would hate to be without, the 1st being maps/navigation. Even without a CarPlay, I use my phone for directions. I call and talk to people all the time as well.Nice. But I hate phones. But now days you almost have to have one to exist. I really miss the old days.
That said, I'm fairly high tech savvy, as I programmed Embedded Linux for the past 25 years, as well as working on desktops, back ends, websites, etc...but I realize everyone is not like me. When you couple a phone with CarPlay or Android, it's a completely different experience, IMO.
I actually used my new phone to get directions to Sportsman's Warehouse last night, and picked up 2 pounds of Hodgdon Superformance, and they had one more tub, and 3 tubs of Accurate MagPro. Both of those powders are used in several cartridges I reload.
I would bet money that you have a smart phone.
Speaking of which, I worked on this project as the first Embedded Linux project I had worked on...I had worked on Linux before that, but not Embedded. This morphed into the iPhone, indirectly.

No, a Pre-runner is usually a off road version of the Toyota Tacoma, with Toyota Racing Development accessories.

This sounds a lot like my Honda CR-V, it has a somewhat offroad suspension, and many of the models are AWD or 4WD.

My 1st Gen Taco 2WD is more like a delivery truck that was abused. LOL I've hauled a lot of crap in there...
How many lugs on each wheel? Does your truck have power steering?
