Best Budget Rifle Scope Under $300 for Elk Hunting

I’m looking for a reliable rifle scope under $300 suitable for elk hunting. Durability is a must, as is clarity at longer distances. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I have a couple Vortex scopes that are built in the Philippines that are decent. Mine are PST Vipers Gen1s...I also have one of these Primary Arms scopes, the guy on the Military Arms Channel once took it to 1000 yards, on an inexpensive Savage, and it tracked well. I keep it as a backup. No affiliation, blah-blah...I have only hunted once with it at about 175 yards.

Maybe a Sig MSR, that price point I wouldn't be elk hunting with any scope. I have learned the lesson the hard way many years ago.
