Would love to know what's everyone wearing this halloween season. Is that something range-inspired or something spooky?

Would love to see some pics!

I was asking my landlord if we even get kids for Halloween, and he said, never, and it wouldn't matter anyway as we can just leave the gave locked, our driveway is about 1/4 mile long... I feel as though I should leave some candy down at the gate, but there is probably none here. Too hilly and spread out...kids would be better in town...

That’s quite a long walk! :ROFLMAO: I think leaving a little candy at the gate is a great idea even if just one kid stops by.

We get at most 1 kid a year. I just turn off all the outside lights, and enjoy life without interruption.

It's a lot longer walking up! LOL I do it about once a week, but my landlord drives his 4WD to take the recycle trash down. My driveway is not as long, but it's about 125' from the road, and has gravel on it, currently. This place has asphalt. It's about 1/4 mile to my property, and about 1/4 mile up, so close to 1/2 mile. There's just not a lot of kids, it's mostly retired people, most with more coin than me. Even if they have grandkids, I don't think it's very attractive to take the kids...no sidewalks, no lights, lots of deer, turkey, skunks, and raccoons...and the squirrels are fairly abundant, as there were many walnut plots planted...some vineyards. I think it's bad that even in the cities many parents don't feel comfortable letting their kids trick-or-treat...

When I was a kid in Upland, we used to shoot gasoline in the pumpkins, blow 'em up with a fire cracker, or forbid a cherry bomb...we only did that one time...too much mess...LOL We'd write horrible stuff with soap on car windows...those were the tricks if they didn't give the treats...:cautious:
