Why now?

Just curious about the rationale to create another California centric site.

I've been a subscriber of Calguns since 2012. Despite the recurring issues, many, like myself, still frequent there. Another site CAGUNS has attempted to fill the void.

So what will distinguish this site from the others?

I gave up on Calguns when I began to suspect that there was a maximum intelligence requirement for membership. People here seem to be friendlier. Even the Orange County people.

CALGUNS just changed server & software again. Its good when it works, but lately it usually doesn't
