So a number of other forums I frequent are hosted either by Vertical Scope or Second Media and cover 2A and non-2A. Both are really the same company based in Toronto Canada. All the forums run Xenforo.
Good news is the different forums all have the same "look and feel" even though their themes may differ. This makes it easy to jump from one forum to another and use the same navigation, see the same alerts and page layouts.
Bad news is when something goes wrong. all the sites go down, 2A and non-2A. It's happening right now. In the middle of a response I try to post and get:
"upstream connect error or disconnect/reset before headers. retried and the latest reset reason: connection timeout"
Try to open any of the other forums hosted by them and get the same error. Now, "stuff happens". Wait a bit and everything comes back. Maybe a few minutes, maybe a few hours. However, this seems to be happening more frequently over the past few months.
Anybody else see this?
The other forums for me are mostly automotive. Jeep, Toyota, Hyundai, and a few others. 2A are Sigtalk, Waltherforum, Perfect Union, and a few others.
