Remington 1100 barrel

I'm trying to help my friend track down a Remington 1100 barrel that's a full 30" long with screw-in chokes. I’m honestly wondering, was that ever really an option from the factory? All I've been able to find are the shorter barrels or those older ones with fixed chokes, which isn't quite what we're looking for.

I was looking for Remington 870 barrels, but never found one with screw on chokes. I sure didn't want to buy multiple barrels, so I decided to make my Browning Citori my primary shotgun. It also has the "versa-choke" threaded options.

If your buddy’s really serious about finding one, I’d suggest looking into a fixed choke 30" barrel and having it professionally threaded for either RemChokes or Tru-Chokes. I’ve done that with my own barrel, and it turned out great! Plus, you get to choose the exact choke setup that works for you.
