I have seen other polls with Steve Hilton in the lead.

He is active on X and I know where he stands.

If I knew more about Bianco, I would consider.

But this is the post a picture thread. From my grill/smoker area 20 ft away.

We're hoping!
I heard some bad news yesterday which is not counted in this poll...that is that Xavier Becerra is running for Governor also...that would be horrible. At this point I think he could beat out Katie Porter, but I consider him to be one of the most toxic people in CA politics. If he was to get into office, say goodbye to our 2A rights here in California...it seems bad to have both Bianco and Hilton battling out for votes, it could leave enough for the Dems to win. This is very criticial to cast our votes the best we can.

A Question for All the Steve Hilton Voters Out There!

What has Steve Hilton actually done to make California better, safer, or more affordable?

If your answer is, “He’s a Fox News political contributor,” then that says it all. Talking on TV about California’s problems isn’t the same as facing them head-on. Hilton speaks from talking points, not from real, boots-on-the-ground experience.
Let’s not forget, Hilton fled the U.K. after it spiraled into chaos. I’ve seen it myself and it’s not a model we want to follow here. He has only been a citizen for 4 years, and his wife is not even a citizen! He lives in one of the most expensive zip codes in California. Must be nice when money is no issue. Remind you of anyone? Sounds a lot like Newsom to me.

Now let’s talk about Sheriff Chad Bianco.
He’s already serving Californians in one of the largest counties in the state. As Sheriff of Riverside County, he worked on Prop 36, helping make our streets safer. He stood up for the people during the COVID mandates, refusing to make criminals out of working families just trying to put food on the table.
When others caved to pressure, Bianco stood tall.
When politicians talked, Bianco acted.
When Californians needed leadership, Bianco delivered.
So, ask yourself, where was Steve Hilton when California families were struggling under lockdowns and crime waves?

Chad Bianco doesn’t just talk about fixing California he’s been doing it. He’s stood up to legislators, the governor, and anyone else standing in the way of making this state safe and livable again.
It’s time for leadership that’s proven, not just polished.
It’s time for Sheriff Chad Bianco for Governor.

I don't know if I'm a Steve Hilton voter, but I will answer your question.

He seems to be doing a good campaign, and he's getting in front of many, many Californias, in many counties from Shasta, Butte, Kern, Orange County, etc...he is one busy campaigner and it makes me feel like he wants to make a change.

He's spoken out against the wild fires, water shortage, and is claiming he won't charge state tax below $100k.

I believe his pockets/donors are deep enough to win.

Let’s not forget, Hilton fled the U.K. after it spiraled into chaos.
That's not something to hold against him. He seems to have good values, to me.

Now let’s talk about Sheriff Chad Bianco.

I have a few concerns with Bianco. The most important is that he doesn't make himself known on many of issues aside from the 2A. I'm confident that he will take care of our 2A and make the 9th district comply with Bruen, but what about all the other issues that plague this state in regard to taxes? I haven't hard enough from him.

He's campaigning a fraction of what Hilton is, and it's not clear if that's just because he's running his county, or what. Whoever wins needs to run the state.

So, ask yourself, where was Steve Hilton when California families were struggling under lockdowns and crime waves?
Well, Hilton was helping us with one of the few media sources that would stand up for the GOP. I believe he was helping our cause.

I don't know enough about how Bianco would handle some of these rogue mayors, we have a number of them in California, and to be honest, I don't know how Hilton would handle that. I do know that Hilton was in L.A. at one point and seems to understand it. Being I was from L.A., there are many things the state did I don't agree with. One of the biggies is they extended Malibu property all the up to the Ventura County Line, pretty much. That's a huge money grab. Getting permits to build in Malibu has been horrendous. Whoever gets into office, I hope they will work with people like Mel Gibson. He's not a politician, but he's down to earth. He probably has deep enough pockets to run for Governor, but don't think he wants that type of fame.

I was pleased to see Bianco rise in that poll, I'm not anti-Bianco in any way, but there's a lot of issues on the table, and some at the Fed level. Seems to be that Newsom has his t!t in the wringer...he doesn't have any money, Trump is investigating him at every chance he gets, and watching Newsom for any wrong doing...

But I said above, and I do believe, that we have to be careful that we don't fight over Bianco/Hilton and let the Dems sneak in with a sleeper and beat us.

Chad Bianco doesn’t just talk about fixing California he’s been doing it.
Not for me he hasn't, because I'm not in Riverside county.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he could be better than any of the folks the left will run against him, but the Dems will dig deep in their pockets to keep California in their pocket, although it could be less enticing for the Dems to have California if they can't funnel money through the legislature.

My issue is that with Hilton and Bianco running, they will dilute the votes. Neither is smart enough to back away to support the other to garner a stronger voter base.

Nothing wrong with an hour of PT before work. Ol' Pete would be a great drill instructor behind Katie Porter, kicking her arse all the way to the finish line!

I feel exactly like Hegseth does...if I can do PT, so can others. If Porter was up in Lake County, I would invite her to swim with me each day...I'm not actually swimming every day until my shoulder is healed, but Portly's problem looks like it's filling her pie hole.

I have been doing some crunches until I can swim, so far 3 sets of 20, but I'm working up to 5 sets of 60. I would make it easy for Porter, she could keep her knees up and do sit ups, rather than crunches without touching her heels on the extend. That seems more than fair!🗽

I guess I was the one that pointed out this should be its own thread and it got created.

In an effort to learn about Bianco, I looked up his X profile. Really disappointed about what I could find out.

He might be popular in my old stomping grounds of SCal. But he is unheard of in Bay Area.
Now add in my far north residence where I might be voting from next election, those rednecks don’t care . They will vote who ever is on the red ticket.

Not to worry, I think many of us are worried on what the outcome will be. This is one of the biggest elections in the history of California, possibly. While we have not been a Dem state forever, but we have been one for a longggg....time...

I mentioned this to Havasu is PM, there's really not too much about his history, or even where his parents came from. Everyone in America is an immigrant, for the most part, even those considered native Americans...cause you can't be native and come over the Bering Straight, in a time when mammoth animals existed...maybe they're "Anchor Natives"? :sneaky:

I completely agree, but the Bay area will vote for anyone they're told to, or that will give them a free handout.

Lake County is one of the poorest counties in CA, yet the USPS in Kelseyville is spotless, and it's opened 24/7, so I can access my P.O. Box anytime I want. That's not the case where I moved from in San Jose, all the USPSs close at 5:00pm so that the homeless people don't sleep there. Especially now that winter is here. That doesn't even make sense if they want to give the homeless shelter, the winter is the time they need it most here... 🤷‍♂️

It puzzles me why there's so little history on Bianco, or where his parents immigrated from. That said, I am fully confident we can save our 2A with Bianco, just that I don't know where he stands on some of the other issues at hand.🤷‍♂️

We have time, however, and you can be sure they will dig all of this info up and drag any skeletons out of the closet...;)

The problem in CA is not just about Governer. We need to have a Red ticket that can compete and win for at least a trifecta of Gov, Lt. Gov, and AG. Any thing short of that and the legislature will run over any attempts to break the corruption and tyranny currently plaguing our State.
We need a unified GOP party plan to accomplish this. I still can't believe the GOP doesn't realize how important CA is in the grand scheme of turning this country around. Im sure there are plenty of rich righties that, if they put their minds to it, we could push our state back to sanity and in turn start affecting the other blue s-hole states.

With the dems having a super majority, there is nothing we can do but wait until the old bats die.

My buddy ran for Cal State Senate against a Democratic multi term old hag, with terminal cancer. She has not been in the office for the last year. She still won, but my buddy was successful with getting 43% of the votes. The voters don;t care about what is actually happening, as long as they continue to receive those freebies.

This is the biggest problem is California. As it *WAS*, we only had 9 seats, and with the Prop 50 steal, we may only have 4 seats. We are outgunned, plain and simple. I don't believe our problem is deciding if Bianco or Hilton will be better, either of them will be better than we have, just that the Dems are on the cheat once again...

Being out gunned is a matter of how they have been rigging the system for years.

My first point of contention-Jungle Primary system. 1st state I have lived in that I am choosing between two democrats for the same office. BS!

My second point- Voter ID. If everyone has to show ID to buy beer, they can to vote. Only a rigged system would make that illegal.

I think Xaviar is going back off after his connection to the chief of staff indictment. Fang Fang lover might try to swoop in. But he got referred to DOJ today and doesn’t have a residence in CA.
