A Question for All the Steve Hilton Voters Out There!
What has Steve Hilton actually done to make California better, safer, or more affordable?
I don't know if I'm a Steve Hilton voter, but I will answer your question.
He seems to be doing a good campaign, and he's getting in front of many, many Californias, in many counties from Shasta, Butte, Kern, Orange County, etc...he is one busy campaigner and it makes me feel like he wants to make a change.
He's spoken out against the wild fires, water shortage, and is claiming he won't charge state tax below $100k.
I believe his pockets/donors are deep enough to win.
Let’s not forget, Hilton fled the U.K. after it spiraled into chaos.
That's not something to hold against him. He seems to have good values, to me.
Now let’s talk about Sheriff Chad Bianco.
He’s already serving Californians in one of the largest counties in the state. As Sheriff of Riverside County, he worked on Prop 36, helping make our streets safer. He stood up for the people during the COVID mandates, refusing to make criminals out of working families just trying to put food on the table.
I have a few concerns with Bianco. The most important is that he doesn't make himself known on many of issues aside from the 2A. I'm confident that he will take care of our 2A and make the 9th district comply with Bruen, but what about all the other issues that plague this state in regard to taxes? I haven't hard enough from him.
He's campaigning a fraction of what Hilton is, and it's not clear if that's just because he's running his county, or what. Whoever wins needs to run the state.
So, ask yourself, where was Steve Hilton when California families were struggling under lockdowns and crime waves?
Well, Hilton was helping us with one of the few media sources that would stand up for the GOP. I believe he was helping our cause.
I don't know enough about how Bianco would handle some of these rogue mayors, we have a number of them in California, and to be honest, I don't know how Hilton would handle that. I do know that Hilton was in L.A. at one point and seems to understand it. Being I was from L.A., there are many things the state did I don't agree with. One of the biggies is they extended Malibu property all the up to the Ventura County Line, pretty much. That's a huge money grab. Getting permits to build in Malibu has been horrendous. Whoever gets into office, I hope they will work with people like Mel Gibson. He's not a politician, but he's down to earth. He probably has deep enough pockets to run for Governor, but don't think he wants that type of fame.
I was pleased to see Bianco rise in that poll, I'm not anti-Bianco in any way, but there's a lot of issues on the table, and some at the Fed level. Seems to be that Newsom has his t!t in the wringer...he doesn't have any money, Trump is investigating him at every chance he gets, and watching Newsom for any wrong doing...
But I said above, and I do believe, that we have to be careful that we don't fight over Bianco/Hilton and let the Dems sneak in with a sleeper and beat us.
Chad Bianco doesn’t just talk about fixing California he’s been doing it.
Not for me he hasn't, because I'm not in Riverside county.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he could be better than any of the folks the left will run against him, but the Dems will dig deep in their pockets to keep California in their pocket, although it could be less enticing for the Dems to have California if they can't funnel money through the legislature.
