With all the Black Friday deals popping up everywhere, what did y'all end up buying or planning to get?

So I finally treated myself to the 1911 I’ve always wanted, and my local shop gave me a sweet deal thanks to the sale!

So I finally treated myself to the 1911 I’ve always wanted, and my local shop gave me a sweet deal thanks to the sale!

I bought way too much stuff. I did treat myself to a pair of Origin boots, and tossed in a belt and a t-shirt to compare against Carhartt, I wear mostly Carhartt. They seem to promote their stretchy jeans, whatever that is, I don't need any ballerina clothes...but they do have regular denim.

I bought the new Hornady manual, 12th Edition

Now for the dilemma

I'm on the fence to buy an air fryer, and not sure I would use it

I just wanted to say that is a nice looking 1911...argh, argh, argh...

For me, the 1911 just feels right, and when you shoot it you know you fired it. To understand the angles of the breech wall, the slide lugs, etc...makes you realize there's a fine line between idiot savant and genius. Browning must have been a wack job...everything needs to be cocked at like 24 degrees.

I really want to, but bought more gun related garb than I thought I would. I'm gonna watch and get one for Xmas. I've heard and read good things about them, my sister recommends the Ninja. I've been doing oven fried pork steak, and that would be awesome in the air fryer. I think my daughter has one, but my wife never did get one. Her and my son use a toaster oven now, that's pretty much what most people use in Japan. I can't figure out how to enter the address correctly, so can't order from Amazon just yet.

I hate to say, after thinking about my wife and son, I was able to get their address entered and ordered an air fryer for them for Xmas.

I will definitely get one for myself, but this will be a good present for both of them.
