Hey everyone! Based in Orange County, and Im diving into my first featureless AR build. What stocks and grips are you guys using to keep everything compliant? Cant wait to soak up some knowledge from yall!

Yo JKris! I'm also in OC. I have a mix of grips. I have a Sparrow Dynamics on one. It does allow me to wrap my thumb around to get a decent grip. Can't reach the safety so I put an ambi safety on it (also from Sparrow) and the ergo end plate. I have a pinned Magpul MOE butt stock set to the longest LOP so I have room for my thumb.

On another I have a simple kydex grip fin wrap attached to my Magpul MOE grip. Also has ambi safety from Sparrow.

On another I have a VISM featureless grip. These have a thumb shelf on both sides to make handling a little easier.

For stocks I have a Magpul Fixed Carbine stock on the same one with the Magpul MOE grip with kydex fin.

The others either have the Magpul MOE Carbine stock or a cheapo M4 stock. The Magpul one has the Sparrow grip, the other the VISM. All stocks are fixed with stock stops and are pinned at the longest LOP.

Glad you decided to join us! It looks like you're diving right in with that featureless AR build. Navigating the compliance scene in OC can be a real adventure. What’s been the toughest part or the biggest surprise for you while working on your compliant rifle? And how did you tackle it?
