CA PRS match

Just joined, and I'm curious about semi-auto PRS matches here in Cali. I've really been wanting to give it a shot, but I haven't had much luck finding any events. Does anyone know of any matches coming up soon or maybe some clubs that host them regularly? Also, I'd love to hear what kind of setups you all are running for semi-auto PRS.

Welcome, jetsettin'! I've participated in PRS matches, and 1 in 10 are using semi-autos. No worries, go for it at any PRS match! I'm shooting a MasterPiece Arms (MPA) production class, bolt action, chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor.

Where are you located?

That may determine where is a reasonable distance to travel. There are only a few ranges that shoot 1000 yards. Folsom is definitely one. I know very little about cost and/or scheduled competitions.
