I will try to explain this briefly, but it is a problem that is not going away. This is a phone issue, because the phone can take landscape or portrait pictures. I use Linux for my desktop, and often if you open the image with GIMP, it will ask you if you would like the original, or if you would like it rotated, so the program knows that something is wrong with the aspect ratio vs image. This changes, depending on device, so it could be more than one reason that makes the software questionable. To make this matter worse, some companies like Facebook, and LinkedIn try to force the user into using portrait mode, ONLY, but that is not a great solution as you can't rotate the device.No idea why it puts up some of my pictures upright, and others are rotated??![]()
I don't think it will go away any time soon, so I'd say start hiring. No, I'm not looking for any work, I'm retired.(Then we will hire a tech to make this problem go away!)
